Where would breakfast be without milk? If like us you know that dry cereal is just not the same in the morning, you’ll enjoy learning about the end product of our milking demonstrations.
Our livestock team illustrates the fine art of milking a cow or goat using one of our rare breed animals.
Being a rare breeds farm we keep a selection of cows and goats that you may not be used to seeing in most fields or dairy farms.
We don’t have a large enough dairy herd to sell our own milk, but we’ve teamed up with Nell’s Dairy (www.nellsdairy .com) so you can buy fresh, locally produced milk from Guernsey cows right here at the Cotswold Farm Park. It’s available in old-fashioned style glass bottles (or you can bring your own) dispensed from our milk machine, next to the our ticket shed. Our campers say it makes the best hot chocolate ever!
We look forward to welcoming you to our milking demonstrations. If you don't get a chance to visit, you can keep in touch on our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/CotswoldFarmParkLtd or by followiing us on twitter @AdamHenson @CotswoldFarmPrk
