Rabbits at the Cotswold Farm Park
In our Discovery Barn we have a number of adorable rabbits that like nothing more than being stroked.
We have a number of breeds including Netherland Dwark, Rex, Continental Giant, Lop, Lionhead, Californian Rabbit and even some stunning Belgian Hares.

FAQs
- Do you have any giant rabbits? Yes we have Continental Giant, also known as the German Giant. It's a very large breed of rabbit originally bred for meat. The longest ever recorded was about 4 foot and 4 inches long !
- Do rabbits always have whiskers ? No not all rabbits have whiskers. For example Rex rabbits have either shortened curly whiskers or no whiskers at all.
- Is the Belgian Hare a rabbit ? Yes the Belgian Hare is actually a rabbit. The Belgian Hare was bred to be exhibited and was bred to resemble the Wild European hare, but it is a rabbit rather than a true hare.
- Are rabbits clever? Some rabbits can be trained to respond to the sound of their name being called!
