New for 2026: join us to celebrate our beloved donkeys and their equine friends. Over one weekend only, meet our donkeys and their adorable foals, hop on a donkey ride*, get creative with tail plaiting, and build your own donkey teddy bear* to take home. It's a weekend donkey lovers shouldn't miss!

Meet Our Donkey Foals (and Pat Their Mums!)
Visit our newest arrivals and meet this year's donkey foals in the company of their mums. A gentle, hands-on experience perfect for younger visitors, with our team on hand to share fun facts about donkey families.

Donkey Rides*
Hop aboard for a short, led donkey ride around our paddock - a highlight for younger visitors at just £6.95 a ride. Rides run in two sessions across the day:
11:00am – 1:00pm
1:30pm – 3:30pmArrive early during busy periods as places are given on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note riders must be shorter than 4'6" and a maximum weight of 6 stone.

Donkey Tail Plaiting
Try your hand at tail plaiting on our friendly (fake!) donkey tail station - a fun, sensory activity for children to practise their plaiting skills without disturbing the real donkeys.

Make a Donkey or Horse Teddy Bear*
Build, stuff and dress your own donkey or horse-shaped teddy for £19.95 - a keepsake craft activity the whole family can join in with and take home as a memory of the weekend.
Donkey Ride Times & Booking Information
Donkey ride sessions run from 11:00am - 1:00pm and 1:30pm - 3:30pm, both days.
Rides are £6.95 each and no pre-booking is needed.
Please note riders must be shorter than 4'6" and a maximum weight of 6 stone.

Full of character and charm, donkeys are beloved the world over. This special weekend celebrates these unique animals. You'll have the chance to meet our equines and learn all about them, with special demonstrations and themed activities.
