3 Reasons to Add the Cotswold Farm Park to Your Summer Tour
20th Aug 2024
With the summer holidays now upon us – and the number of caravans heading up and down the UK at its annual high – we’re seeing our campsite and caravan pitches starting to fill with return visitors and new guests alike.
But what is it about the Cotswold Farm Park that makes us a must-visit on your summer tour? And more importantly, how can we help you to keep every member of the family happy during your stay?
1. Our Accommodation
As part of our vision to make the Farm Park as accessible as possible, we are proud to offer a diverse range of accommodation solutions – from caravan pitches right through to our luxury lodges and safari tent experiences.
With all accommodation options located onsite and within minutes of the park entrance, there is no better way to immerse yourself in the daily routine of our animals than by joining us for an overnight stay.
And if you happen to spot one of our friendly sheep from your window, then consider yourself an honorary farmer for the day!
2. Events and Entertainment
The Cotswold Farm Park offers a wide range of events both during and outside of the park’s opening hours.
Daily bottle feeding has become a firm favourite with visitors of all ages, with bottles available on a first come first served basis at 11.30am and 3.30pm. Our summer Flower Fields attraction is open from the end of July, while our onsite Ox Shed restaurant serves breakfast and lunch daily – as well as dinner on select evenings.
And if all that wasn’t enough, we are lucky to be joined by local artists on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights all summer, with live music in the Ox Shed. The perfect accompaniment to a beer from our Rare Breed bar while you relive your best bits from a day on the farm.
3. Facilities and FAQs
Here at the Cotswold Farm Park, there’s only one thing we love more than our human guests, and that’s their four legged friends! While dogs are not allowed in the Farm Park itself, all surrounding areas are dog friendly – including the Ox Shed restaurant and our camping and caravan sites.
Other facilities include access to our communal campers kitchen, a laundry room for those staying with us, and a spacious recreation field where dogs can roam free.
Granting access to the farm park with every booking, and with tons of attractions and amenities to keep the whole family entertained onsite, rest assured you won’t be spending much time in your tent or caravan when you visit us.
