A series of four Heritage Weekends are coming to Cotswold Farm Park this June! Celebrate heritage farming skills like shearing, sheepdog training & vintage machinery and the history of this iconic British industry.
21st & 22nd June - Shearing & Heritage Talks
It's time to relieve our flock of their heavy fleeces! Pop up to the Animal Barn on your journey around the Farm Park for a drop-in demonstration of the historic practice of sheep shearing. For the local historians, dive into the history of our Cotswold farm with our Heritage Talks.
Heritage Talks in the Yard at 10.30am & 3pm. Shearing 12pm-1pm in the Animal Barn.
28th & 29th June - Sheepdogs & Shearing
Watch the fascinating experience of a sheepdog trial, where the relationship between a farmer and their dog is absolutely crucial. You'll learn about commands, how sheep react to different movements, and just how clever sheepdogs are.
