Do I need to purchase the full Christmas Experience tickets for everyone or just the children?

When booking your Christmas Experience Tickets, you are only required to book a Father Christmas Experience Ticket for your toddler/child/young adult (this includes personalised visit to Father Christmas, make-a-bear activity, festive sweet treats activity and the choice of a gift from the toy shop). Once you have selected your tickets, on the following page you will be asked to add on any tickets you need for accompanying guests (adults and seniors).

I have booked the Father Christmas Experience and Light Trail at 17:00, however the accompanied adults and senior tickets say entry from 16:00, when can I enter the park?

The adult tickets will show the times that you can enter the park from and to, the child ticket is the time of arrival to meet Father Christmas. Once you're in the park, there is no need to arrive at Father Christmas' Grotto before your allotted time - please arrive at the time stated on your child's ticket.

If I purchase an evening Father Christmas & Light Trail ticket, can we attend the farm in the day? Or is our ticket only valid for the farm park from 4pm?

Yes, there are two separate tickets for daytime and evening experiences. The daytime ticket gives you access to the Farm Park from 9:30am to 3pm, the time on your ticket is when you will meet Father Christmas. Your evening ticket allows entry to both plus the Enchanted Light Trail. If you wish to enter the farm park before 4PM, you will need daytime tickets as well as evening Light Trail tickets.

The Farm Park is closed between 3PM and 4PM, but our Ox Shed restaurant and shop is open throughout for a delicious festive snack or some Christmas shopping.

How long does the two experiences (Father Christmas & Light Trail) take to complete?

The Father Christmas visit should take 10-20 minutes, including arriving shortly before your allocated time, meeting Father Christmas himself and picking a present. Occasionally there is a queue, but if everyone arrives at the correct times it should be fairly prompt. The light trail is a 20 minute walk if you don’t stop, but we suggest you do stop and play/eat and relax during the trip – we put plenty of activities in to keep you busy including meeting our friendly farm animals. Gingerbread Decorating and Make-a-Bear activities take around 15 minutes each to complete too.

Is there a price or way to just book a slot to just see Father Christmas please?

We do only offer Father Christmas as part of the full Christmas Experience but we hope you will feel that the experience is value for money.

I would like to add my toddler to the booking but I'm not interested in them meeting Father Christmas?

Your baby is very welcome to go through the experience for free however if you would like them to receive a free gift then you would need to book the baby 'Baby (0&1) Meet Father Christmas' ticket.

If I've purchased a child ticket, does this include an accompanying adult?

No. You will need to move to the following page where an an accompanying ticket can be added. We found that quite a few people were confused with the combo tickets last year so for that reason we have taken them away this year so hopefully the booking process will be much simpler.

I’m trying to purchase Christmas Experience Tickets and nothing is showing. Have you sold out?

Yes I’m afraid if we are showing as fully booked on your selected date, this does mean we have sold out of tickets for that particular session. However, if you select a different day there may be time slots available.

My child has special needs, which light trail time slot do you recommend I book?

Our twilight session is one of the first time slots of the day as it's lighter out. This would be a good choice of session for children that don't like the dark or have sensitive eyesight.

Is it possible to buy gift tickets?

I'm afraid we don't have this as an option and also with tickets selling fast, we would advise of possible to get booked in with a date that works for the child as we may not have availability left if we were to activate a gift voucher at a later date.
Staying in a lodge or bringing your motorhome?

Access to the light trail is included as part of your stay on the campsite. You will need to just book for Father Christmas; if you book for the children's tickets at the time of your choice and then get in contact with the office with your booking reference number and we will be able to add on your accompanying adult tickets for Father Christmas at just £5 each.
