COVID Campsite Guidance

  • Our self contained accommodation will be open from 12th April 2021, and all other accommodation will open on the 17th May 2021 at the earliest.
  • Our shower and toilet block will be closed until the 17th May 2021 at the earliest.
  • In line with government legislation, face coverings must be worn in all of our enclosed indoor areas.  This will include – once re-opened – when using the shower block (until inside your cubicle). If in doubt, please follow the onsite instructional signage.
  • Limited contact on arrival and departure
  • Social distancing on all pitches
  • Communal facilities will be subject to physical distancing measures when open
  • Physical distancing reminders around site
  • Guests are asked to adhere to government guidelines in terms of meeting people outside of their family/social bubble; gazebos and event shelters are not currently allowed on site for this purpose
  • Children MUST be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times
  • The communal kitchen, wash up and BBQ areas are currently closed; you are still welcome to bring your own gas or charcoal barbecues
  • An outdoor food and drink service is available at the Farm Park
  • Our toilet and shower facilities will not be open until the 17th May at the earliest. Our Glamping tents will have self-contained toilet and shower facilities until the shower block is re-opened.
  • All Lodges, Glamping tents & Pods will be deep cleaned between every visit:
    – New bedding protectors
    – Indoor and outdoor areas cleaned and disinfected
    – All crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment cleaned at a high temperature
  • Extra cleaning of our communal shower/toilet block will be taking place, once re-opened
  • Hand gel points and sanitiser available for all guests

In addition, we have also put new measures in place to ensure your money is safe. Our Book with Confidence policy gives you peace of mind that your money and bookings are safe, even in the event of lockdown restrictions being reintroduced.

  • A reduced deposit of just 25% to secure your booking.
  • For bookings up until 31st December 2021, the balance will not be due until 14 days before your holiday, in case of late changes to Coronavirus guidance.
  • For stays this year, we will give you a full refund if you cancel 14 days before your date of arrival.
  • Please note: For stays in 2022, when we expect government measures to have been relaxed, we will continue to follow our low deposit policy and the balance will be due 21 days before your holiday. Refunds will be given if you cancel 28 days before your date of arrival.

The Farm Park has it’s own Visitor Guidance information; please note that campers are already included in our daily capacity and you won’t need to book ahead.

Facilities

*Please Note* Our shower and toilet block will be closed until May 17th at the earliest, in line with government guidance. All communal areas, including our BBQ area, will also remain closed until further notice.

Check in at Reception, where you’ll be greeted by a member of the campsite team who will direct you to your pitch or accommodation and answer any questions you might have about your stay.

A spacious recreation field can be found directly adjacent to our ‘Tinkers’ pitches, alongside the entrance to our Wildlife Walk.

You’ll also find chemical toilet disposal and waste water disposal are available on site. When indoor areas re-open, there is also a communal kitchen with microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster.

FAQ’s

How large are the pitches

Premium Pitch – half hard standing, half grass, approximately both areas are 10m x 5m with parking for 1 car.

Grass Pitch with Electric – approximately 10m x 10m with parking for 1 car.

Grass Pitch – approximately 10m x 10m with parking for 1 car.

Additional cars can be left in the Farm Park car parks, free of charge.

When can I arrive?

Campers: Your pitch will be available from 1pm on the first day, and checkout is at 11am on your day of departure.

Glampers, Pods & Lodges: Your unit will be available from 4pm on the first day, and checkout is at 10am on your day of departure.

Please register with the Holiday Team upon arrival.

If you would like to arrive early, please park in the car park until your pitch or accommodation is ready.

Can we use our barbecue?

Visitors are welcome to use their own free standing barbecues, these must be raised off the grass. Please note that wood fires, fire pits and Chinese lanterns are not permitted. We have our own fire pit next to the Welcome Lodge where group campfires will take place – weather permitting!

Can I pick my own pitch?

Online bookings can be taken one pitch at a time, for up to six people per pitch.  You can choose your pitch at the time of booking, using our interactive map*. If you have any specific requests, please email campsite@cotswoldfarmpark.co.uk and we will endeavour to accommodate.

*The campsite hosts reserve the right to move your pitch if required.

Can we have more than 6 people on a pitch?

Unfortunately not, due to safety requirements. If your booking is for more than 6 people, you would need to book another pitch.

Does my booking include entry to the Farm Park?

All 2020 bookings include Farm Park entry for all guests throughout your stay.

What do I need to bring when staying in a Glamping Tent?

The full list of what’s included can be viewed by clicking here and scrolling to the bottom of the page.  Bedding is included, you would need to bring your own towels.

Can I book more than one pitch at once?

Yes, you can now book more than one pitch using the online booking system. You can choose your pitches by using the online map when booking.

How can I pay my balance?

A deposit is taken at the time of booking. To pay the rest of the balance prior to your stay, you can manage your booking online.
